In Juri upazila of Moulvibazar district, the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) distributed winter clothes to the cold-stricken people. On Monday (January 6), winter clothes were handed over at the Daktila Border Outpost (BOP) in Phultola Union by Lieutenant Colonel Md. Mehedi Hasan, PPM, Commander of BGB’s 52nd Battalion in Beanibazar.

Also present at the event were Nur Hossain, Assistant Director of the 52nd Battalion; Subedar Jasim Uddin, fultola Company Commander; Nayek Subedar Harunur Rashid, Daktila Camp Commander; Havildar Rezaul Karim; Tanzir Ahmed Russell, President of Juri Press Club; Abdur Rob, General Secretary of Barlekha Press Club; Saiful Islam Suman, General Secretary of Juri Press Club; Monirul Islam, President of Juri Reporters' Unity; Delwar Hossain, Publicity and Publication Secretary; and members Kamran Hossain and Suyebur Rahman. Also present were Union Parishad Member Murshed Ahmad Raja, Abdul Jalil, and others.
