Asma Ahmed Muna, a resident of Uttar Magura in Kulaura Municipality of Moulvibazar, has secured a place in the merit list for admission into the MBBS course at Dhaka Central International Medical College. Muna is the granddaughter of retired Kulaura Government College professor Nurul Islam Khan and retired headteacher of Bhuyai Government Primary School, Begum Ayesha Siddiqua. Her achievement has brought joy to her family, teachers, and peers.
Muna is the daughter of education-loving couple Nowruja Khan Holy and Engineer Ali Ahmed, currently residing in Dhaka. From a young age, Muna has been known for her intelligence and dedication, and she pursued her education in Dhaka to achieve this success.
In a reaction, Muna said, "I have dreamt of becoming a doctor since childhood. My ultimate goal is to serve the country as a successful physician—that will be the true fulfillment of my efforts."
Muna’s grandfather, retired professor Nurul Islam Khan, said, “We are very proud of my granddaughter's achievement. We hope she dedicates herself to serving humanity.”
It is worth mentioning that Dhaka Central International Medical College is one of the prominent private medical colleges in the country. Each year, only a limited number of students are admitted based on merit from among thousands of applicants.
