The ASI. Nazrul Islam conducted separate drives and arrested 6 accused from different places of the upazila. The arrestees are Uttam Kahar, 28, son of Uma Shankar Kahar of Jerin Chabagan, and Sumon Balmiki Das alias Sumon Das, 23, son of Ratan Mallick, who is on the warrant of GR No 36/24 (Sri).

On Thursday, SI Ariful Islam Bhuiya conducted a drive and arrested Piyush Sabar, son of Dulal Sabar, who was convicted in the GR case, from Bidyabil Tea Estate in Sreemangal.

Superintendent of Police S.R. Aminul Islam said the accused were sent to jail through the Moulvibazar District Wise Court.
