‘Warriors of July’ Moulvibazar District Holds Eid Reunion

In a poignant event, the Moulvibazar district chapter of “Warriors of July” successfully held its Eid Reunion and Exchange of Views meeting in remembrance of the martyrs and injured of the July Uprising.

The Eid reunion and exchange of views program took place today, Saturday, June 21, at 10:00 AM at ‘Mamar Bari Restaurant’ in the city. During the event, in-depth discussions were held regarding the current physical condition of the brave injured heroes of the July movement, along with heartfelt reminiscences of the memories and sacrifices made during the uprising. Attendees shared the joy of Eid with each other.

Speakers at the event emphasized the need for widespread societal cooperation to alleviate the ongoing struggles faced by the injured and called for a unified effort to fully implement the July Charter. They firmly pledged their unwavering commitment to upholding the ideals of the July Uprising and fulfilling the dreams of its martyrs.

The program included light refreshments in the festive spirit of Eid. Concluding the gathering, a special prayer (monajat) was offered for the eternal peace of all martyrs of the July Uprising and for the swift recovery of the injured. This prayer marked the official end of the event.

The event was presided over by Md. Sahab Uddin Bablu, Convener of the “Warriors of July Moulvibazar” District Committee, and expertly conducted by Md. Zahidul Islam Ferdous, Member Secretary. Also present were Chief Organizer Mojammel Ahmed Likon, Spokesperson Nazmin Begum, Joint Member Secretaries Zamir Mia (Rafat) and Emon Hossain, and young organizers Naim Ahmad Rafi and Jewel Ahmad.

Additionally, senior members of the organization Kawsar Ahmad Shakil, Wadud Faruk, Abul Hossain, Sayem Talukder, Md. Emon Mia; and members Raihan Ahmad, Emon, Kashem, Khaled, Zahir, Bappi, Shueb, Tofael Sharif, Rizia Akhter, Shamima Akhter, Hosne Ara, Liton, Imran, along with numerous injured fighters and well-wishers from Moulvibazar district, attended the reunion, making the event even more meaningful.
