In his speech, Advocate Niyamul Haque, the founder and chairman of Manuser Adhikar Foundation, stated that the Foundation has been working since 2014 to establish the rights and protect the human rights of underprivileged people. This Foundation also works with dropout children by providing school-based education and assists street children. He noted that typically, schools do not provide much education on human rights, as a result of which children are deprived of the concept of their basic human rights from childhood. He commented that if children acquire proper human rights education, they will become humane, and crime will decrease in society. He further informed that as a continuous program, they have undertaken “Manabadhikar Pathshala” with the aim of increasing awareness and education on human rights among children. Initially, they have taken the initiative to distribute human rights-related leaflets, organize workshops, and seminars in every school across Moulvibazar district to provide basic understanding. Subsequently, they will expand human rights education among young children through projectors, and he sought everyone’s cooperation in this endeavor.
