The committee of Moulvibazar District Chhatra League has been announced. A 27-member committee has been approved with Amirul Hossain Chowdhury as President and Mahbub Alam as General Secretary.

The approval of the committee was issued last Monday night on a signed pad of the Central Chhatra League President Saifur Rahman Sohag and General Secretary SM Jakir Hossain.

The Vice Presidents are Sheikh Samad Ahmed, Akhtar Uddin, Hasan Ahmed Tarek, Md. Tanvir Ahmed Shipu, Mazharul Islam Rabbi, Faisal Mansur, Amit Roy, Saidur Rahman Moni, Jakir Hossain Panna, Siddiqur Rahman Fazle Nur, Humayun Rashid Raji, Sheikh Md. Morshed Jahan Masum, and Suman Ahmed.

The Joint General Secretaries are Jakir Hossain Sujal, Meher Hossain Jakir, Tiklu Chandra Kar, and Abdullah Al Shammu.

Five leaders have been appointed as Organizational Secretaries. They are Md. Russell Ahmed, Tanvir Chowdhury Robin, Abdur Rauf, Sakibul Hasan Rajib, and Tushar Monayem.

In addition, Md. Belal Hossain has been appointed as Publicity Secretary, while Mehedi Hasan Kabir and Mohammad Suman Ahmed have been appointed as Deputy Publicity Secretaries.

It is noteworthy that after a long gap of 20 years, the Moulvibazar District Chhatra League conference was held last Monday (23 April) at the Moulvibazar Municipal Public Hall. The conference was attended as chief guest by Textiles and Jute Minister Mirza Azam, MP. Also present were local Member of Parliament Sayra Mohsin, President of Moulvibazar District Awami League Nesar Ahmed, Central Chhatra League General Secretary Jakir Hossain, along with leaders of the district Chhatra League and Awami League.
