The government has appointed new Deputy Commissioners (DCs) in 11 districts across the country through a gazette notification issued by the Ministry of Public Administration on Sunday.

The districts include Rajshahi, Chuadanga, Khulna, Madaripur, Brahmanbaria, Chandpur, Habiganj, Narsingdi, Meherpur, Lalmonirhat, and Bandarban.

According to the notification, Kazi Shahidul Islam has been appointed as DC of Rajshahi, while Lutfun Nahar has been posted to Chuadanga. Miju Hara Jannat has been made DC of Khulna, and Marzina Akter has been assigned to Madaripur.

Md Abu Sayeed will serve as DC of Brahmanbaria, and Ahmed Ziaur Rahman has been appointed for Chandpur. GM Sarfaraz has been posted to Habiganj, while Israt Jahan Keya will serve in Narsingdi.

Shilpi Rani Roy has been appointed DC of Meherpur, Md Rashedul Haque Pradhan to Lalmonirhat, and Md Saniul Ferdous to Bandarban.

The notification states that the appointments will take effect immediately.
