‘Bandhan’ delivers food to flood-affected people’s homes

Bandhan Social welfare organization is delivering food to the houses of water-logged people in Munumukh, Khalilpur, and Afar Kagabala Unions of Moulvibazar.

Food items were distributed in the flood-hit areas of Manumukh and Khalilpur Union of Moulvibazar Sadar Upazila on Monday (June 26) morning. Sometimes in the boat and sometimes on foot, the members of the Bandhan go from house to house and deliver the food.

Advisor of Bandhan Social Welfare Organization Monwar Ahmed Rahman, President Sakibur Rahman Meraj, General Secretary Akmal Hossain, Co-President Ajmal Hossain, Finance Secretary Sahel Rana, Organizing Secretary  Sohag Ahmed, Co-Organizer  Monir Ahmed, Publicity and Publication Secretary Abu Taher, Affairs Secretary Abdus Samad, Assistant Development Secretary Shakaria Ahmed, Relief and Disaster Secretary Abdus Shahid Sentu, Information and Research Secretary Yamin Ahmed, Sports Affairs Secretary Suhin Mia, Assistant Sports Secretary, Sanwar Ahmed, Salman Ahmed, Anik Ahmed, and Jihad Hasan Joseph were present.

Standing committee members Fayez Ahmed Faizan, Rabel Mia, journalist Ripon Ahmed, Jubayer Ahmed, Bappi Mia, Tamjid Ahmed, Kagabala Union businessman Raja Mia, businessman Imdadul Haque, and others were also present.

Sakibur Rahman Meraj, President of Bandhan Social Welfare Organization, said, “Our organization engaged in the service of humanity. We have dried food and essential food items in this food pack. Bandhan Social Welfare Organization Moulvibazar We have delivered food to the homes of more than two hundred families. We will deliver food to another two hundred people step by step. In the next step, plans have been made to extend cooperation to the flood-hit areas of the entire Moulvibazar district.
