A two-day-long New Year Publication Festival organized by the Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir, Government College branch, is being held on the campus of Moulvibazar Government College after 15 years.
The festival began on Monday morning (January 27) with an inauguration by Tarek Aziz, president of the Moulvibazar town branch, at the Government College campus under the town branch of Moulvibazar.
The event was attended by Tarek Aziz, president of the Islami Chhatra Shibir Moulvibazar town branch, former town presidents Fakhrul Islam and Morshed Chowdhury, former district president Hafiz Alam Hussain, town secretary Kazi Daiyan Ahmed, Moulvibazar district secretary Farid Uddin, town branch office secretary Abdullah Al Mamun, and Moulvibazar Government College president Ziaur Rahman, along with other leaders and activists of Islami Chhatra Shibir.
The town president stated, “We have organized this publication festival to enhance the intelligence, creativity, and focus of the students. We believe that the publications and materials here will benefit the students. Items such as desk calendars, July Revolution-themed calendars, pens, large and small diaries, key rings, stickers, and various creative books are available. We believe that if these books and publications reach the students, their creativity will further develop.”
He further added, “Through this festival, we aim to convey a message of a creative celebration to the student community. We also wish to deliver our message to guardians, students, teachers, journalists, and people of all professions. We hope your presence will make this event successful, and in turn, enhance your creativity and intellectual perspective.”
