On the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha, the Eid reunion has been held on the initiative of Juri Upazila’s popular online news portal JurirSomoy.

It was held online (on the Zoom platform) on Thursday (July 22) at 9 pm.

Rinku Ranjan Das, Vice Chairman of Juri Upazila Parishad was the chief guest on the occasion. Special guests were Sirajul Islam, President of Juri Upazila Press Club, and Abdus Samad Raju, Advisory Secretary of JurirSomoy.

Mehedi Hasan Maruf, Executive Secretary of Jury, gave a welcome speech at the function, which was conducted by Saifullah Hasan,  Associate Secretary of Jurirsomoy and Ashraf Ali, Editor.

Earlier, the program started at 9 pm with the recitation of the Holy Quran. Adil Abdullah, the special Correspondent of Jurirsomoy, recited the recitation.

Later, Ashraf Ali took a class on basic journalism. He highlighted various issues of journalism in the class.
