More than 2,000 patients received free specialist healthcare services during a nine-day medical camp organized by Imperial Medical Hospital in partnership with The Tafida Raqeeb Foundation, held from September 29 to October 7 in Moulvibazar.
The initiative brought together a team of specialist doctors from the United Kingdom (UK) and Europe, offering high-quality medical care at no cost. Patients were treated by experts in Neuro Medicine, Respiratory, General Medicine, and Gynecology, with the primary goal of providing specialist healthcare directly to local communities.
The closing ceremony of the camp took place on Tuesday, where M.A. Mubin Khan, Chairman of Imperial Medical Hospital and Managing Director of International Medical College, attended as the chief guest.
Also present at the event were Superintendent of Police M.K.H. Jahangir, Dr. Pronob Kanti Das, Dr. Zillul Haque, Nazrul Islam, Syed Tofazzal Hossain, Tawhid Khan Nahid, and Shah Sabbir.
Organizers described the initiative as a significant step toward improving access to quality healthcare in underserved communities, emphasizing their commitment to continuing such efforts in the future.
