Mizanur Rahman Azhari, an Islamic speaker, is back in the nation.
On Wednesday, he made an announcement about his arrival on his verified Facebook profile.
He said in a post: “Thank God, I’ve returned home safely to my dear country. May this return be blessed by the Most Merciful.”
Mosharraf Hossain, the uncle of Mizanur Rahman Azhari, posted a picture of himself bringing flowers to the airport in a different post.
He concluded by saying: “Alhamdulillah, our beloved leader is now in our beloved homeland, Bangladesh.”
Since 2020, Mizanur Rahman Azhari has resided in Malaysia. He declared earlier in the year that he intended to return to the nation after the August mass upheaval.
In a message on his Facebook page, he wrote: “Many have messaged me and called to ask when I will return to the country. I want to tell them that I will be returning soon. I am also looking forward to meeting you all. I want to meet you soon in a Bangladesh that is free and just, built on equality and humanity.”
He further added: “I respectfully remember those martyrs who made the movement successful with their fresh blood. I pray for the forgiveness of their souls and wish for the quick recovery of the injured. I extend my greetings to those who are leading the movement against inequality and are still enduring hardships.”
