‘Warriors of July,’ an organization representing the frontline fighters of the July 2024 mass uprising, has officially announced its 42-member Moulvibazar District Committee.

The committee was disclosed in a statement signed by the organization’s Central Convenor Abu Bakar Siddique, Member Secretary Md. Salman Hossain and Joint Member Secretary Md. Al Amin on Thursday, May 22.

The newly formed committee has appointed Md. Sahab Uddin Bablu as its Convenor and Jahidul Islam Ferdaus as the Member Secretary.

According to the organization, the primary goals of this committee are to rehabilitate the families of those martyred and the students and general public injured during the July mass uprising. Furthermore, they aim to firmly establish the spirit and ideals of the uprising in state and national life, and to facilitate the enactment of an ordinance for historical preservation.

The newly appointed committee members stated, “The spirit of the mass uprising is not merely a timeframe; it is an unwavering ideal. We will work collectively towards realizing that ideal.”
